WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

We are seeking an Associate Attorney for Corporate Law to join our Zunic Law team.

Eligible candidates should have 1 to 4 years of post-Bar experience.

This is a full-time, Belgrade-based position with the flexibility to work remotely five days per month. The Associate Attorney will provide high-standard legal services and advice to clients within their area of specialization, conduct complex research, and resolve sophisticated legal issues independently. Responsibilities also include drafting legal documents, leading negotiations, and representing clients in court proceedings. Additionally, the role involves mentoring junior colleagues.

WORK ORGANIZATION

Hybrid model (5 days of remote work per month)

 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Passed bar exam;
• 1–4 years of professional post-bar experience in law firms, courts, or corporations;
• Specialization in corporate and business law. (if your experience is in labor law or data protection, apply here)
• Proficiency in English (C1 level CEFR) with excellent written and verbal communication skills—English is used as frequently as Serbian in our work;
• Attention to detail;
• Experience in delivering top-tier legal services within your area of specialization;
• Openness to innovation and advanced legal practices—yes, we love to tread where no lawyer has ventured before!
• Strong organizational and analytical skills because we believe in solving problems effectively;
• Motivation for continuous learning and professional growth, as we nurture a lifelong learning mindset;
• Leadership skills, including the ability to organize and lead a team effectively;
• Experience mentoring junior colleagues.

 

 

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS THAT CAN SET YOU APART

Candidates with the following qualification(s) may receive an advantage in the selection process:

• Extensive experience in M&A transactions;
• Official certifications in English proficiency (IELTS, TOEFL, C2 Proficiency, etc.);
• Recognition by ranking organizations (Legal500, WWL, etc.);
• Proficiency in additional foreign languages;
• Written recommendations from previous employers/mentors/colleagues or a reference contact provided in the CV.
