Vitomir Žunić

Biography

Vitomir Žunić founded Zunic Law in 1991, after several years as head of the legal department at DP Nomega Novi Sad and as an associate at the Supreme Court of Vojvodina. He set up the firm as a place where individuals and companies could get complete legal support built on a long-term relationship of trust.

He has thirty years of experience across a wide range of legal fields, with particular focus on commercial and corporate law, and covering real estate, restructuring, insolvency, employment law and dispute resolution. He provides full legal support to some of the leading companies in Serbia and the Balkans, and has worked with the great majority of his current clients for decades.

Alongside managing the firm, Vitomir personally handles complex disputes, sets up structures for entrepreneurs, small and medium-sized companies and large corporations, and advises individuals looking to invest. He advises on every aspect of company formation and restructuring, and on the rights of minority and majority shareholders, including drafting all legal instruments and resolving disputes. His role often includes representation in negotiations on the terms of formation, operation or exit from a company. He also advises medium-sized and large companies on employment matters, with a high success rate in employment disputes. His experience covers all legal work related to real estate and property rights, and with his long-standing expertise in commercial law he frequently represents clients in commercial crime matters.
