At the recent annual e-commerce conference “E-trgovina 2021” held on June 17, 2021, Attorneys at Law Jelena Đukanović and Nevena Milošević participated as speakers before Zunic Law Firm at the session dealing with the current legal aspects of electronic business in Serbia.
“E-trgovina”, the oldest and biggest event in Serbia dedicated to e-commerce activities, continuously follows the development of the local and regional e-commerce market and has been gathering key players on the market for 21 years.
Based on our team’s significant experience with companies that have transferred their business to the online environment, as well as with support to companies that deal with electronic trade, whether it is B2C or B2B e-commerce, Attorneys at Law Jelena Đukanović and Nevena Milošević covered 2 key topics that recently drew the most attention.
Taking into consideration the current practice of the Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection, the first part of the session was dedicated to how to properly fill out the self-assessment checklist for compliance with the Law on Personal Data Protection. The second part of the session was dealing with the proper declaration of products in e-commerce, considering that there are many doubts and mistakes regarding proper declaration, which occur in practice.
Besides the legal aspect of electronic business led by the members of our legal team, this year’s participants also had the chance to hear sessions covering various topics related to electronic trade, such as business analytics, advertising through social media platforms, technical aspects of electronic sales, etc.
