Why Zunic Law

Zunic Law is one of Serbia's leading law firms, recognized by Legal500, Lexology Index, Who's Who Legal, and the Client Choice Awards. We have been named Law Firm of the Year in Serbia three times, most recently by the Lexology Index in 2025.

We advise businesses operating in the digital economy, with practices in IT law, corporate law, labor law, contract law, intellectual property, data protection, real estate, and dispute resolution. The firm is led by alumni of leading global universities, who apply those standards in their everyday practice.

Our mission is to build a new generation of law practice: technology-driven, client-centered, and genuinely people-oriented. We put the latest technology to work in our everyday practice, because we work hard but we also work smart. It is a place where you can do the best legal work of your career without giving up the rest of your life.

The corporate law attorney role

As a corporate law attorney at Zunic Law, you will take full ownership of corporate and commercial matters for domestic and international clients, many of them technology companies competing at the global level. For the right candidate, this is a track to a team lead role or partnership.

Day to day, you will:

  • Advise clients on complex corporate and commercial questions, independently and to a high standard
  • Conduct in-depth legal research and resolve sophisticated corporate law issues end to end
  • Draft and negotiate transaction documents and lead negotiations on M&A projects
  • Represent clients in court proceedings in commercial law disputes
  • Mentor junior attorneys and help them grow

What we're looking for in a corporate law attorney

  • Passed bar exam
  • At least 7 years of post-bar experience in a law firm, court, or corporate legal department
  • Extensive experience in corporate and commercial law, including leading roles on M&A projects
  • English at C1 (CEFR) or above, written and spoken, since we use English as often as Serbian
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, and real attention to detail
  • Leadership and mentoring experience, with the ability to organize and lead a team of attorneys
  • A lifelong-learning mindset and openness to innovation in legal practice, because we like going where no lawyer has gone before

What will set you apart

  • A formal English certification (IELTS, TOEFL, C2 Proficiency, or equivalent)
  • Individual recognition by ranking organizations (Legal500, Who's Who Legal, and similar)
  • Additional foreign languages
  • Written recommendations from previous employers, mentors, or colleagues, or a reference contact listed in your CV

What we offer

  • An accelerated path to a team lead role or partnership, depending on your seniority
  • Competitive monthly compensation
  • Performance bonuses twice a year
  • Hybrid work: four remote days per month, with the rest of the month at our Belgrade office
  • Flexible start to your day, anytime between 7:00 and 9:00 AM
  • Internal and external training, plus paid courses and conference attendance
  • A platform to speak at conferences, appear in the media, and run trainings under your own name
  • Close work with domestic and international clients, including companies leading global markets in cutting-edge technology
  • A meritocratic, team-oriented culture, plus team-building events we actually enjoy
