Biography
In her work she has specialised in labour law, corporate law and dispute resolution.
She has led some of the firm’s most complex employment law disputes on the employer side, and advises many domestic and foreign companies on the full working relationship. She leads redundancy programmes and complex employment schemes, drafts employment documentation of every kind and represents clients in labour disputes.
In corporate law she works primarily on the incorporation of companies by natural and legal persons, both with and without the founder being physically present in Serbia. She has gained experience advising foreign clients interested in cooperating with free customs zones in Serbia. She also advises clients on company structuring, tax aspects, state subsidies, liquidation and insolvency proceedings, and on questions of immigration and residence of foreign nationals.
Aleksandra is engaged in numerous complex litigation proceedings in which she represents legal and natural persons, domestic and foreign. To make the collection of claims as efficient as possible, enforcement proceedings are a further area in which she continues to develop.
She completed her undergraduate and master’s studies in law at the Faculty of Law of the University of Novi Sad, defending a master’s thesis in competition law on the conditions for release from the obligation to pay a competition protection measure.
During her studies she represented the faculty at the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot and at a regional human rights competition. She attended the ELSA Vienna Summer Law School on Dispute Resolution in Vienna and the Danube Summer School in Ulm, Germany.
