Jelena Kovačević is the Chief Operating Officer at Joint Zunic Law Firm Belgrade. Previously, Jelena served as the Operating Manager at Zunic Law Firm. In her role, she is primarily responsible for client onboarding and ensuring the smooth operational and technical functioning of the Zunic Law in Belgrade. She closely collaborates with the finance department on tasks related to invoicing, monitoring collections, and cost optimization.
Before joining the Zunic Law team, Jelena worked as a translator for Italian and English at a joint Italian-Serbian company specializing in accounting and tax consulting. Her responsibilities included managing client relations, conducting written and consecutive translations, and overseeing administrative office tasks.
Following her studies at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade, she further honed her skills by attending numerous courses and seminars in the field of translating.
Benefiting from scholarships from the Government of the Republic of Italy and the Fund for Youth Talents of the Republic of Serbia, Jelena pursued her master’s studies at the University “Roma Tre” in Rome. During her postgraduate studies, she completed an internship at the Interuniversity Research Centre on Sustainable Development (CIRPS) at the University “La Sapienza” in Rome.
Jelena speaks Serbian (native) and is fluent in Italian and English.
